Waste Information

Christmas trees are collected from properties free of charge in January and February. The separate collection of Christmas trees will start on 9.1.2025.

  • Please leave your tree in a visible place next to the waste shelter after the end of Christmas, by 8.1 at the latest.
  • Make sure that the tree does not get covered in snow or frozen to the ground.

Individual Christmas trees from households are also accepted free of charge at Sortti stations in January-February. At other times the reception of Christmas trees is subject to brushwood waste fees.
