Sortti Card for using self-service devices

Do you often visit the Sortti Station and wish to make your visit faster and smoother? The Sortti card is our customer card with which you can use the self-service devices at the stations, and either pay on-site for the waste you have brought or pay with an invoice. If you wish, you can view the information on waste loads you have declared as well as your payment receipts in the eSortti.fi service. The Sortti card is personal.

How to start using the Sortti card

Please remember that the Sortti card is for your use only. The card owner is responsible for the waste brought using the card.

How to use the Sortti Station self-service machines

    Show your Sortti card at the gate and drive into the station.

    Self-service symbol

    Find a self-service machine somewhere in the station. You will recognise the machines by the symbol above. You can use any self-service machine in the station.

    Show your Sortti card to the self-service machine and indicate what kind of waste you have.

  4. 4

    Choose a payment method if you have chargeable waste. You can choose either an invoice or a payment card as the payment method. If you only have waste that is free of charge, approve the transaction at this point.

    If you wish, you can enter a reference for the transaction.

    Insert/show your payment card in/to the card reader or approve payment by invoice.

  7. 7

    If you wish, you can print out a receipt and sorting instructions.

    Sort your waste in the correct skip. After this you can leave the station.

    You are ready. Thank you for your transaction, let’s recycle together!

What to do if you lose your Sortti card

You can cancel your card online in the eSortti.fi service or
  • by contacting HSY’s Customer Service 
  • by visiting a Sortti Station.
Please provide the number of the lost card so we can cancel it quickly. You can find the number of your card on an old invoice, for example.
