Let’s recycle together! We make sure that all material delivered to a Sortti Station is recycled and that something new or useful is always created from it.
Opening hours
Sortti Stations are open Mon–Fri from 7 am to 9 pm. The Konala Sortti Station and the Ruskeasanta Sortti Station are also open Sat–Sun from 10 am to 6 pm. Please note that the Kivikko Hazardous Waste Reception Station has different opening hours.

Using the services and self-service machines at the Sortti Station
Please note that Sortti Stations cannot be accessed by lorry or combination vehicle. The width of the car and the trailer must not exceed two metres and their combined length must not exceed 10 metres. Such loads must be delivered to the Ämmässuo eco-industrial centre.
We accept hazardous waste from companies and corporations (including housing companies) only at the Kivikko Hazardous Waste Reception Station in Helsinki. A fee in accordance with the price list is charged for the waste.
If you are bringing in a large quantity of waste electric and electronic equipment (WEEE) or the devices are large in size, the waste load must be delivered to a WEEE producer association’s collection point intended for companies. The reception is free of charge.
