Organisation

At HSY, the highest decision-making power is exercised by the General Meeting. The Board of Directors is responsible for the administration and financial management of HSY, and prepares and implements the decisions of the General Meeting.

• The Audit Committee is responsible for organising the auditing of the municipal federation’s administration and finances as well as for carrying out an assessment in accordance with the Local Government Act.
• Our Executive Director is Tommi Fred.
• HSY has two fields of operation, waste management and water services, as well as two result areas, regional and environmental information and support services. In addition, HSY has control and development functions as well as a customer service unit.
