Some of our services and materials require personal user rights. User rights are required due to the sensitive nature of the materials.

Some of our materials and services require a personal licence

Information products based on the regional basic register (SePe), i.e. SeutuData, SeutuRuutu and the interface service, require a licence from the user. The licence is personal and granted on a case-by-case basis.

1. SeutuData user rights

The SeutuData material package may be granted for official use to the employees of municipalities in the Helsinki metropolitan area, HSY, HSL and Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council, as well as to consultants working for them, without separate compensation. Students and researchers may also be granted a licence to use SeutuData.

2. SeutuRuutu user rights

SeutuRuutu user rights may be granted for work and official duties to the employees of municipalities in the Helsinki metropolitan area, HSY, HSL and Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council without separate compensation. 

3. Using geographic information interfaces subject to licence (SeutuData interfaces)

Using geographic information interfaces subject to licence requires a valid SeutuData or SeutuRuutu user licence. The interfaces can be accessed from the networks of cities in the Helsinki metropolitan area, HSL or HSY.
